What is also important is the relation between “Parents and Children” in Islam. (Dalil is Qur’an 31:14, 17:23, 24, 2:83, 66:6)
Parents and children in Islam, in the Qur’an Allah says:
Qur’an (31:14) Surah Luqman
And we made it a duty for man to be good to his parents. His mother bears him with one fainting spell after another, while his weaning takes two years. Thank Me as well as your parents; towards Me lies the goal.
Qur’an (17:23, 24) Surah AL-Isra’
And your Lord has decreed that you not worship except Him, and to parents, good treatment. Whether one or both of them reach old age [while] with you, say not to them [so much as], “uff,” and do not repel them but speak to them a noble word. And lower to them the wing of humility out of mercy and say, “My Lord, have mercy upon them as they brought me up [when I was] small.” Most important thing to know is that by pleasing the Parents means that one pleases Allah as well.
Qur’an (2:83) Surah Al-Baqarah
And [recall] when We took the covenant from the Children of Israel, [enjoining upon them], “Do not worship except Allah; and to parents do good and to relatives, orphans, and the needy. And speak to people good [words] and establish prayer and give zakah.” Then you turned away, except a few of you, and you were refusing.
[“Be kind to your parents and the relatives and the orphans, and those in need and speak nicely to people.”]
Qur’an (66:6) Surah Tahrim
O you who have believed, protect yourselves and your families from a Fire whose fuel is people and stones, over which are [appointed] angels, harsh and severe; they do not disobey Allah in what He commands them but what they are commanded.
